can't believe just how many things i was able to watch this week but i definitely needed that inspiration while speed-running my thesis this past week. and i definitely ticked of a few things i've been meaning to watch since they came out! okay back to the thesis i go byeee

» the danish girl, 2015: no words. a soul-touching and heart-wrenching movie that just reminds you of everything trans people went through for us to be here today. eddie redmayne has always been one of my favourite actors and he did such a perfect job with portraying lili. made me sob i wont lie

» mary&george, 2024: oh my was this INTENSE. i love historical series and this one did not disappoint despite the amount of butts in my face 💀 the cinematography was immaculate! the script was so good with perfect comedic timings! julianne moore and nick galatzine ATE as a mother and son duo!

» the idea of you, 2024: i wont lie guys as much as anne hathaway is MOTHER this movie wasn't for me😭 both her and nick galatzine were fantastic but there is a reason why i avoid movies about het couples 💔i did like that the story is about a woman in her 40s and how life doesnt stop once you turn 40

» maurice, 1987: who doesn't love some good old english gay drama! the pacing felt a bit weird but i loved all the costumes and places that they shot at! casting was great i mean young hugh grant... ALSO OMG LESTRADE FROM SHERLOCK (Rupert Graves) !! would watch(and cry) again for sure!

» bottoms, 2023: what a great take on satire and teenage life. the universe of the movie was so unique and unbelievable but that made it so fun! the casting was just perfect and everyone's attention to details enhanced the watching experience! i'm definitely not obsessed with havana rose liu now...

» sex education s4, 2023: finally got to it after more than a year lol definitely one of the better seasons imo, loved the exaggeration on "goodness" and what being good person means. the new characters felt fresh but also the revisiting on all original stories felt personal and extremely relatable!
