A vibrant purple iris being viewed from above. The iris has 3 wide petals alternating with 3 narrow petals. There is a thin yellow stripe at the base of each large petal. The iris has tall, thin lime green leaves surrounding it and you can see dirt and mulch below. There is also one tan rectangular stone at the bottom in the middle and in the bottom left corner of the photo you can see a few holly bush leaves.

New toy alert! I finally let my cats have access to a box of Mac’s old toys. They had fun going through them and finding new favorites! Penny was particularly fond of this Chardonnay themed cat toy. It definitely has catnip in it!

Just rewatched the #Lorax & I recommend others do the same (leaves Netflix this month). It’s surprisingly relevant right now & I hope others get inspired by it. Everyone has the power to make a difference, so do what you can to help! #plantatree
