Canned soup is highly processed (added salt, sugar, fat . . . ), but its healthiness as an ingredient depends on what you add to it. I make a great crockpot beef stew, for example, that requires one can of soup plus fresh veggies and lean beef. Yummy. Healthy. Recipe from “Prevention” magazine.

Campbell’s soup is the best canned soup, as far as I’m concerned. It tastes best as an ingredient in midwestern casseroles. And, nothing beats their chicken noodle with saltines when you’re ill. I like that the soup is affordable and of good quality. This product is a great equalizer among people.

Chicagoan here. Trump doesn’t even need an excuse to send in the feds to disrupt a city. His excuse for sending federal thugs was to protect us from crime . . . funny, the thugs committed the most awful crimes at the height of their occupation.

Don’t let the nut balls get you down, Daniel. Haters rewrite our history, misinterpret our meaning, and cast doubt on our intentions. Why? Because all of these things are truthful, reasonable and respectable. Zionism is simply self determination, which every nation should be able to enjoy.

Dyke, the idea that Daniel “jerks off” to “dead brown children” is hate speech . . . and seriously 🤢nauseating. I asked Bluesky to remove this post of yours for “hate.”

Me too. A lot of us are. So vote! Advocate! Use your voice! Others will join you.

Like I said, a shame. Your post is nihilistic. It’s just one big uninspired “Debbie Downer” drivel. You can’t solve problems, or help change the world, if you can’t drag yourself out of bed in overwhelming hopelessness. Encouraging others to feel the same is a bad bet, because nothing will improve.

The question we must ask, as a community, is why the Palestinian movement has grown rapidly and with disinformation on colleges campuses and generally in young people. Our young people don’t fully grasp the 2-sided nature of this long conflict between Israel and Palestinians. Why? Who’s lying?
November 26, 2025 at 3:34 AM
You can’t find even a smidgeon of good news, here? That’s such a shame for you.

Me too. Tapped out. Was hoping I’d have an impact on you, so you’d at least avoid using antisemitic tropes online. That said, you seem to be clinging hard to your position, which is antisemitism is okay if you add a virtue signal: “Hitler was right . . . Not,” or “Soros funded it. . . LOL” ugh! 🤢
November 25, 2025 at 10:14 PM
Hmm. Looked at Twitter reference and didn’t get your point. Here’s mine: Antisemitism is ubiquitous - everywhere! - on both the left and right. Jews like me need your support, not just another Jew joke. So, “no thank you” for the sarcasm. Use your voice to demand an end to bigotry, please.
November 25, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Mslizz: Your “lol” is ambiguous. You might have meant “lol, Soros is at it again” or “lol, Poor Soros being made the Jewish token again.” Maybe that’s where my confusion - and defensiveness - originates. Anyway, you just didn’t say enough to actually be sarcastic. Sounded like a whistle to me.

Most important message in Cassidy’s estimation: “Vaccines are safe.” Of course, they are. And for a long time average Americans thought so, too. But, now, vaccination rates are falling and previously controlled diseases, having found an opening, are preying on all of us again. Such a shame.

Exactly - he got the talking points “in” for POTUS to stop a bit of funding to NYC and send in ICE, National Guard, et al to deal with safety concerns. . . Thanks for posting!

lol! 😆

Oh look 👀! A fascist posing as a good ole boy . . . who wants to get along . . . Just like the nicest cowpoke President you ever want to meet. 🤢🤮 This is not news. It’s propaganda, which is why Hassett is grinning like a Cheshire Cat: Tapper’s gift of free, uninterrupted air time to spew it.
November 24, 2025 at 5:53 AM
I’ve felt that way, too.
November 24, 2025 at 5:37 AM
You will survive, Daniel.
November 24, 2025 at 5:36 AM
Death or rebirth? Let’s keep making “good trouble” so we can improve our Democracy. All is not lost, my friend. You’re tired of the struggle. The strategy - making opponents exhausted and feeling hopeless - is part of the fascist playbook. So, rest, recover, and then return to resist again.

Zionism is about Jews’ historical connection to land. For Jews, Zionism means that our nation - we’ve identified as a nation from our earliest history to the present - should have self determination in its homeland. Jewish Zionists merely want to live in the Levant. Peaceful neighbors are welcome.

Hmm. What about live performances? Will AI generate profits that outperform human artists? Doubt it. With the rise of every new technology, there were domesday predictions. Things will surely change a bit. Some jobs will surely disappear, but knowing which requires a magical crystal ball, I think.
November 24, 2025 at 5:01 AM
As the saying goes, “Predicting the future is easy, getting it right is hard.” The impact of AI will surprise us all. Some industries - no doubt unexpected ones - will crumble, but others will be enhanced and flourish with AI. Whose job is at risk is yet a mystery.

Aww, shucks. Okay. No hard feelings. Basically just wanted to say that a liberal minded attorney can admire Scalia as a jurist, but strongly disagree with his political views.
November 24, 2025 at 12:22 AM
So, you’re mimicking antisemites . . . ? Don’t get it. If you meant to make a sarcastic remark about Trump et al, and his hatefulness, why didn’t you? Why add to the hatred out there by endorsing their trope that Soros must have funded something?
