Vesta and her new baby buck only 2 days old and out in the barn. I usually don't keep bucks unless they are reserved but this one is really special. Very large with very correct feet and legs at this early stage. He will be available.

Goats enjoying the sunshine at the neighbor's pond.

Finally after weeks of rain and cloudy weather, we get some glorious sun! Air is crisp with a nice north wind but perfect for Alpine goats. Pasture is green and a nice change from hay. Hope for more days like this.

Playing a little catch up with getting Alpha S1 Casein DNA tests done. Another 12 does on the books, many with strong alleles (A and B) for the cheese makers out there.
