Magic Potion Fun! 🧪✨
We had lots of fun exploring capacity while making our own magic potions! We learned to use words such as full, half full, and empty as we measured and poured colourful liquids. At the writing table, some of our pupils even wrote their own potion recipes. #Halloween

As part of our topic on animals and their habitats, we have been learning about different types of animals and where they live. We focused on snakes and looked closely at their scaly skin. To create our own snake artwork, we used printing techniques to add texture and patterns to the snake’s body. 🐍

Each child chose an animal and wrote their own descriptive piece, thinking carefully about appearance, movement, and habitat. I am so proud of their writing- keep it up! ⭐️✏️🦔🕷️

We went outdoors to create patterns using natural materials we found around the school grounds. It was fun to work together and spot patterns in nature! We learned how to repeat shapes and colours and noticed how patterns can be found all around us. #Outdoors #Numeracy @mathsweek.scot

We went outside to collect leaves and used them to make hedgehogs. The leaves were perfect for the hedgehog’s prickly spines! 🦔🍁🍂 #Art #OutdoorLearning #IDL
