That sounds right. Wild times. Now we have students starting to jam graphite or other conductive materials into their Chromebook charging ports and literally nearly starting fires as they fry their devices. 🫠 Not at my school yet, but it has happened in our district! So tired.

I remember in my first couple of years as ITF before we switched our network service, that there was a stretch of days where we were without internet. I lost my name during that time. I was instead only greeted with: “Is the WiFi back up?”

Dark times. 😂

I could see through the language being used. The lack of real ownership/accountability. Assigning equal weight to both of us in how things “broke,” when only one of us was asking the other to change and saying that we might not be able to continue forward as friends.

I inhaled that book over the holidays at my folks’ house and I’ve been itching to reread it before I start book 2. So good.
