The point of libraries is not to generate revenue, but economic benefits are a nice bonus. This info. is similar to findings in other studies. Despite that, funders tend to think they're niceties that can easily be cut. For many members of the public, they're a lifeline.

I realize this may even be partly a reaction to NY bishops speaking out about family separation this week, but it has been in planning for LONGER than this week, and "splash damage" is looking pretty bad tbh

In all three conversations, agents asked questions about the names of specific congregation members, their home addresses, and the frequency they attended church services.
