It’s not Larian’s fault but it chaps my ass that because they’re Larian they can have a trailer with a full on orgy in it in the middle of the Game Awards and meanwhile adult content in games everywhere else is getting cracked down on left and right.

I honestly think the hardest part of game UX is presenting data in a way that won’t scare devs into grabbing first / loudest player solution.
It’s painful to see your game / players “fail”! Someone in charge of $$$ might want to immediately pave over any friction - but the friction is the point!

a friend of mine who's worked on a somewhat recent free multiplayer game says this about player feedback that I feel like is very astute
