My mum was a great one for socialising and getting out and about.
A week before she took ill with Covid she was still trying to escape from her nursing home.
The sad part about getting very old is not having anyone to reminisce with anymore.

When my brother turned 70 I asked my mother how it felt. She had never imagined living into her 90s.
