Funnily enough, my best mini may be where I didnt know what I was doing: it was a metal van helsing mini, and im pretty proud of it. It aint much, but its honest work.

Makes sense! Also explains why its lighter in color. I've been painting for months, and I still struggle with thinning! Granted I was using AP's line of paints before they rebranded, which were utterly horrid. They practically come out over thinned.

Honestly I feel that a bit. Though for me, its more "I'm tired baws." Being dommy takes a lot of energy which I rarely have nowadays.
Its also deffinitely a lot easier to be dommy with close friends, as I know all their buttons, and dont have to worry about bringing up the wrong thing.

Which is also probably why they only sent three men: if it wasnt there, they were only down three men and can put the others on more important things. If it was, Titus has single handedly stopped a war before, he can do it again.

I do think that it also makes a bit of sense in both cases: the tyranids shadow in the warp does prevent a place from being reinforced when under attack. It also makes getting any messages out a right pain. So you end up with a thousand marines, if that, trying to retake a planet.
