Back then I had no expectations at all but then I was riveted from the start by the car chase scene and then by many other things. The Opera at Bergenz too, which I had visited for the first and only time just a year before the release of the film, played a role too!

I know it’s universally considered very mediocre. But liking something can be highly subjective and irrational.

Craig plays Bond the same way in all movies, same vibe, etc.

My favourite is Quantum of Solace. Just because it’s the first I watched, I was in the mood for it, etc. Then I bought the DVD and watched again several times.
