Senator Kaine, one of the Quizlings, has probably gotten an earful from the government workers in Virginia. He will not be up for election until 2030, so he hopes we will forget.

So far, we have been busy here at our voting precinct. Had a line of voters at 6:00 am. We also hand out the best stickers

Considering the "Roaring 20s" party at Mar-a-Lago: Let's not start comparing Trump to Gatsby. For one thing, Gatsby served in World War 1. Additionally, Gatsby seemed to have a conscience. Now, comparing Trump to Daisy...

Some days I feel that the billionaire class only tolerates us until they can replace us with AI or robots.

I hope there is a lake of hot urine on some level of hell, and those physicians who prescribe lasix and other diuretics to people with mobility issues are sent there

There are moments when I am deep in a lecture about happier times, such as the Middle Ages, that I do not have the constant disaster of this regime playing in my head.

6:57 pm. They finished the AWS fix-it at 6:57 pm. Those bastards--I thought I was getting out of teaching my 7:00 pm class.

Do you remember in elementary school, if the power went out, we imagined all sorts of elaborate rules concerning when they would stop classes for the day?

They were nothing compared to the "service health" notifications I am wading through to see if I can teach my Zoom class at 7:00 pm tonight:

I want to go to the No Kings rally, but I have to teach on Saturday.

Should I compromise and teach the class in my inflatable T-Rex costume?

I am so saddened by the loss of Diane Keaton. She was an actress who did not need to be a movie star. At least we will be forever blessed by her roles.

Do you know how difficult it is to teach a three hour class, all the while knowing there is a dutch apple pie waiting for me at home?

Trump is ignorant of the law. He is ignorant of the Constitution. He is ignorant about military matters. He is ignorant of law enforcement procedures. He is ignorant of history. He is ignorant of business management. He is ignorant of economics.

He is immoral, insane, and unfit to lead.

Query: Considering that Trump insists the 2020 election was the most corrupt in history, why hasn't there been any arrests? I mean, other than the Trump supporters. You would think getting this fixed would be important.

I am glad my main movie-going years coincided with many of Redford's greatest works. I got to see a real movie star on the big screen in new films. We will miss you, Mr. Redford.

My package from Licorice Int. came. They always include a gift, but this time they failed to read the room. My order included the Salty Black Licorice sampler, a bag of Italian Spezzatina, and a roll of Lakrisal. Very dark, bitter, and salty, like my soul. My gift? Red licorice. Bleh!

I have seen and enjoyed so many satires of the new Cracker Barrel logo, but I have not seen what the new logo actually looks like.

Today is the anniversary of the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia on 21 August 1968. Just as in Ukraine in 2023, 7000 tanks, paratroopers, and a quarter of a million troops invaded without warning. Unlike Ukraine, the people reacted with non-violent resistance. Photo: Libor Hajsky / Reuters

IT's all Biden's fault for making the competent people working in the government quit or get fired. Thus Trump had no choice but to employ incompetent boobs.
