Is ok if you don’t love your disabled life every day.

I don’t know much, but what I know is that love, kindness and acceptance is what truly matters and makes a difference.

Am I the only one who truly dislikes those ‘feel-good’ stories about a disabled person going to prom with an able-bodied person? Why does that need to make the news or media? It only reinforces the idea that disability is some kind of abnormality, separate from ‘normal’ life.

When I say my disability is dynamic, this is what I mean: Yesterday, I went to a wedding and spent most of the day standing. I didn’t drink but feel hungover with pain. Today, I’ll stay in bed, and my energy will be low all week, meaning I’ll need help with even basic things I usually handle myself.

Got here because I want to take my disabled voice to as many places as I can. Advocacy, awareness, and a bit of real-life perspective—I’m here to share it all. Hi!
