Yes for sure! My daughter had her appendix removed in Melbourne. Cost was 0. I also had three accidents (because I’m a damn clutz!) 2 in Melbourne, 1 in Brisbane and again 0. I kept up with my health there as well because there wasn’t the concern of how I was going to come up with huge fees.

I’ve been telling people this for years! I lived in Australia for years & the healthcare system there works! Not saying it’s perfect but I never had to worry about medical care. Earlier this year in the U.S. my son’s appendix ruptured. With discount, the hospital bill was 48k.
