Raconteur, tea drinker.

Neuro-Spicy thinker of thoughts.

Better living through CQI.
What results often are relationships devoid of substantive emotional connections.

The emotional equivalent of processed foods, lacking in taste and nutrients, algorithmicly enhanced to be addictive.

I try to pre-manage expectations before I engage in any outreach to strangers, even famous ones.

That doesn't help much with the RSD.

Social media has made human connection much more difficult to create. It was good in the early days as a way to connect with your existing social circle, online.

Now people start online without having established relationships in the real world.

I totally get this. I have known & worked with people at various levels of celebrity.

Most people can't envision the fire hose of calamity from a torrent of strangers wanting a piece of you.

So many that it's easier to filter at the first signs of complexity, which is what we ND folk can be.

This is an industry wide problem. My Samsung Galaxy gave itself an OS update that changed many aspects of my UI, without my consent. I kept denying the update each time I got a notice. After a week it did it on its own and I woke up to a phone with new iconography & I couldn't use half my functions.

That's exactly what I would expect a headache to say about an analgesic.

Hey wait, that explains a few things.

I miss the days when the people in charge seemed to be connected to the same reality as me.

I find ibuprofen highly effective as well as Tylenol. I have no plans to d/c either.

Reagan fired the nation's Air Traffic Controllers in 1981 when they were striking in part over unsafe operating practices. This was the beginnings of corporate ascendancy and the gutting of the power of organized labor.

In 1984 the DC airport, Dulles, was insultingly renamed after Reagan.

I guess he is dreaming they will name an airport after him too. Next step, the pink slips. Firing people is literally his signature move.

Not honored enough to keep the staff that won those accolades apparently.

I never looked to @teenvouge.com to be a source of quality journalism, but I was pleasantly surprised by outstanding features that earned my respect over recent years.

No more news now. Just folding to the rise of fascism.

It troubles me how many people are living an algorithmic life, just following the prescribed flow without any introspection.

Going through the motions without context or understanding what they are doing or why.

Purpose needs to be the primary foundation of function. Not just following procedure.

These guys like to think if they move fast enough they will be immune to natural consequences like a certain famous road runner.

The rest of us live in the real world, and will suffer similar fates to that coyote as the world chases to follow this tech bro vision of the future at full speed ahead.
a cartoon of a coyote in a tunnel with a bucket of food
Alt: The Warner Brothers Looney Toons character Wile E. Coyote, paints a tunnel with a line of perspective indicating a road running through a sheer cliff wall. The roadrunner impossibly speeds though the optical illusion baffling the coyote and inspiring chase, leading to the predictable and tragic results not shown here, but universally associated with this trope.

Newsom's point is how your skeet is an oversimplification that distorts his position.

He is fine with recreational sport for all. Just not competition.

I support his advocacy efforts for democracy but I find this a troubling revelation into the abelistic philosophy underlying his view of humanity.
