I don't trust BlueSky. Backed by Jack Dorsey, trying to tie cryptocurrencies in, likely plans for advertising, no plans to tie it to the ActivityPub which can connect it directly here to Mastodon and no public instances demonstrated yet.

If everyone that promotes for Mastodon can't find a way to change the narrative that people are moving "away from X to BlueSky" then I am convinced this is the first sign that Mastodon will remain in the shadow of BlueSky and become increasingly irrelevant.
