When Hillsborough County Sheriff Christopher Connelly resigns to join Kelly Ayotte's staff, the position will be filled by a vote of the Hillsborough County Delegation. And there's already chatter on the far right to replace him with a "constitutional sheriff." #NHPolitics 1/2

Compare her story with that of fellow Granite Stater Cindy Young, who began Jan 6 on the other side of the barricades manned by Officer Campbell. Young was sentenced to prison for her role in the Capitol breach and has called for retribution against jurors, judges, and law enforcement. #NHPolitics

As if to bolster the prosecutors' argument, Young has planned a "Remembrance Vigil and Flag Wave" in Concord at the State House for January 6, 2025: "We will lay flowers in memory of Ashli Babbitt @ 2:44PM the time that she was shot and murdered by Capitol Police on January 6th." #NHPolitics

Prosecutors oppose request by convicted J6er Cindy Young to attend Trump's inauguration: "Young has continuously endorsed calls for retribution against those involved in January 6 prosecutions—specifically jurors, judges, and law enforcement—all whom help make up the 'D.C. community.'” #NHPolitics

Indeed. In 2022, former Free State Project board member Jeremy Kauffman said the quiet part out loud, describing NH's school choice program as "a stepping stone towards reducing or eliminating state involvement in schools" & acknowledging that "the entire program is run by Free Staters." #NHPolitics
