Assumption of Mary is a holiday in Croatia, and in Mali Iž there is a party, which traditionally involves tying a bunch of boats together, side-to-side, and sailing in formation ("alajo-vez").

Scene I saw on island Iž last August. Zrmanja is a water-carrier, brings water to islands that have no water supply.
The water is transferred from the ship to people's reservoirs by a long hose. This takes all day. Meanwhile, children decided to occupy and take over the ship for their own purposes.
