It was an honour to be at the inauguration of ár Uachtarán Catherine Connolly. Her speech gives hope that she will be a catalyst for change. An Ireland of equals, a neutral state that builds peace, a country where a home is a right and a livable planet is possible for future generations.

I'll never forget when my movie screened at the film festival in Rome & this Palestinian flag popped up as the first frame. I started crying & thanking them...they said "oh we didn't do this for you...this flag comes up and stays up for one minute of silence before every movie we screen" ❤️ Italians

They do this before every screening, not just for me. It's a minute of silence in solidarity with Palestine. The whole world is on the side of Palestine (except Germany)

I was on a really great TV show called Ireland AM (wearing a Palestinian resilience necklace and a Palestine pin) and the hosts wanted to talk so much about Palestine we almost forgot to talk about my movie...all things that are unimaginable in the U.S.

I love living here 💚

I was also on a wonderful Irish radio show called Moncrieff. I really love everybody in Ireland...except the people in charge of Gogglebox Ireland who edited the last episode to make it look like the Irish aren't happy about Catherine Connolly's win 😒

The neoliberal project inside the Dem Party cannot be reasoned with, negotiated with, or bargained with. There's too much money at stake & there will always be grifter-warriors for its side. It will have to be politically defeated by populists, because it will never voluntarily relinquish power.

“We are at a moment right now where people are asking themselves why can’t the Democratic Party defend this assault on democracy . . . and I would submit to you that if you can’t draw the line at genocide, you probably can’t draw the line at democracy.”

Everybody in these mentions replying with nonsense is really just ashamed that genocide wasn't their red line, that they sacrificed whatever little moral compass they had to cast a vote for a party that courted the right while silencing anti-genocide voices. I would be ashamed too, if I was you.

The point is that the Democrats will never save us from the far right because they’re too busy collaborating with them. Most Liberals are fundamentally fascist themselves. Case in point: you ppl can’t wait to punish every minority or woman who doesn’t sufficiently bow down to you
