I love that there are so many coyotes here, although of course they're rarely seen. Every few years Portlanders see some and panic and there's a fresh round of news articles reminding folks that the coyotes were here before us, don't attack humans, and to just please go back to co-existing lol

I really love Lila, specifically for her being an accurate depiction of how, sadly, some people don't overcome the traumas of their personal histories and do become cold and cruel. Definitely not defending her behavior, but I just appreciate her complexity as a troubled character
