I had to get the latest YCH from @th3gadfly.bsky.social when I saw it was about playing the QoQ arcade game, especially when I've got two characters more than a little obsessed with two of the fighters in particular.

Once more with help from Jamcassette I bring you another Mario OC, Nina, an alluring woman who loves to dance under moonlit nights. It really bummed me out that there wasn't a painted Dry Bones in Mario Kart World...

A Toad woman with a black and blue spotted cap in a Mexican inspired dress that accentuates her figure, with thick brown hair that covers her shoulders. She has large lips and a mole. A second bust shot depicts her wearing a turtle like skull mask painted in bright colors with the appearance of eyelashes and flowers. Nina lived in one of the many many desert regions of the Mushroom Kingdom. There were two things she was drawn to in life, dancing and Dry Bones. They were such mysterious beings, Koopas that continued to live despite being reduced to bones. They never gave up, always continuing on no matter the set back. That was the way Nina lived her life, she endured all hardships, she worked hard for her dreams no matter what got in her way until one sad day her body simply couldn't anymore. She simply faded into the night after a particularly exhausting day. But much like the Dry Bones that inspired her, she refused to let something as little as death stop her. From that day forward travelers began reporting the same unusual story. A seemingly abandoned little house that still looked well tended despite its lack of an owner. Yet if you took a rest in the well prepared bed, you'd wake up in the middle of the night to find a warm meal and hear music from outside. There, as if the moon was a spotlight, they saw a beautiful woman dancing with Dry Bones.

Despite this, within her dark heart... Just maybe... she secretly likes it?!

A MASSIVE Flemmish Giant rabbit in a barely fitting red bunny suit. Her dewlap forms a large ring of fur that covers her neck. Dew works as a waitress in the same club Doris sings in and is among the most popular for obvious reasons. The two have become great friends since Dew joined the club and Doris believes that one day she might even take over for her as the star of the club... if Dew could only get over her stage fright. A blonde snow leopard woman in a short red dress. She has many gold rings on her arms, neck, and even tail. At first glance, Velvet appears like a vain, self-centered, idiot more focused on finding dates than doing her job. At second glance... yeah, she's still most of those things, but she's actually quite smart, and she has to be in order to run a private investigation business alongside her sister, Silk. The two are even rumored to get involved in more... unusual cases involving paranormal activity but the two assure us that if they were dealing with ghosts and stuff, they'd be charging more.

Well I didn't expect to get this far but I've got myself a new QoQ team from @th3gadfly.bsky.social ! This time they're a... Bunch of food mascots competing to promote their brands?
(Special thanks to Nolongithere from the Gadcord for gifting me Sundae Bunny, this is possible thanks to you!)
A humanoid rabbit woman made up primarily of vanilla ice cream along with two massive scoops of chocolate and strawberry accentuate her bust, along with a cherry for hair and two half strawberries for ears. Robin Stone is the CEO and mascot of a massive ice cream company in the QoQ world. If she doesn't have it, it's not a real flavor. While a bit... eccentric(you have to be in order to fight in a glass outfit), she at least means well. As for her moves, she's inspired by Guilty Gear's Faust, namely in her signature special, "Flavor of the Day," which is completely random. There's no telling what wacky effect will happen! A rain of sprinkles, a blindingly fast flying scoop, or even a flavor so good it's literally explosive! A small yellow mouse girl with pizza crust like hair and a pizza like dress with pepperoni on it. Leda Mouzarella, beloved family pizza mascot and all around cutest little thing has entered the fray in the name of saving her family business and she has a fool proof plan to get those customers! As the resident Install fighter, specifically being inspired by Bang from Blaze Blue, Leda will acquire toppings over the course of a match. Get them all and she enters SUPREME PIZZA MODE! But be careful, not all toppings can unlock Supreme mode, like the dreaded pineapple which does... absolutely nothing, it's not THAT bad but still not a supreme pizza topping so it's not good either. A chubby dark brown cat in a burger themed outfit. Light brown bun pants, top, and hat. Lettuce trim, a cheese top, and mustard and ketchup hair/tail. Sissel McHarvey is the mascot of the local burger joint, though her unofficial title is general shift filler. Unfortunately she has it a bit less glamorous than her contemporaries, running the cashier and grill more than she runs mascot duty. Still, living in the shoes of the employees gives her a level of being grounded that her teammates lack... and also a much bigger appetite, even bringing along a "light snack" to fights which leads into her main gimmick as a fighter. Sissel, like Jamie from Street Fighter 6, gets stronger with each break she gets a chance to enjoy, getting buffs like increased damage, defense and even a bit of armor... no amount of burgers will fix her low speed though. Remember to eat healthy...

Not that many of them would even know since they all conveniently work on different floors of the offices. Even their personalities are similarly sweet so few, if any, people at the office even know how many of them their are. One wonders what mischief they might get up to when they're all together.

More adopts means more characters to share from @th3gadfly.bsky.social ! This time more focusing on side characters. Maybe if I get another character to fit the alien ocean theme I'll have a 6th roster with Bailey here and L-V1RA but until then, this whale girl is off in on her own mission.
A giant whale girl with small robotic krill in her baleen. She's wearing a silvery retro space suit like outfit. The ocean depths are a mysterious place in the QoQ world. A deep dark abyss full of equally bizarre and strange creatures... but the thing about mysteries is that SOMEONE is going to want answers to them. Maybe even enough to pay for those answers. That's where Bailey comes in. Anything you need, she can track it down, blast it until it makes the right choice to stop resisting, and bring it to you. So long as you have the money for it of course. After all, she's gotta eat to keep up her perfect physique up. Alongside throwing her weight around to send whatever nuisances in her way flying, Bailey also has a swarm of PW-KRL fighters to handle long range targets and wall out any would be challengers still itching for close combat. With word of a tournament with a big cash prize floating around, perhaps this bounty hunter could scoop up a few poor saps to try and rig the battle in her favor. Would be nice to try out a could dozen or a hundred of those waffles they got on land after the fighting... A rabbit woman in a sparkly blue dress and fur boa that accentuates her figure, namely her MASSIVE breasts. Her ears drape downward over her head like hair, with one covering her right eye. Doris was the star singer at Arkport City's finest club in her youth... and still is, actually! Even now as a grandmother, she's continuing to charm guests with her stunning performances. Surely there's some secret to her success, some sort of dark side to her, right? Nope. She's admittedly my least worked on adopt so far but she's genuinely just a kind singer and loving grandmother. I'll hopefully figure out how to expand her resume soon. A hefty roadrunner woman in an all black diner uniform holding a notepad for taking orders. She has a rather grumpy aura about her. Irene runs/works as a waitress at a diner(or a Waffle House equivalent, whichever is funnier) in Arkport City. She's gotten experience dealing with all sorts of customers over the years but especially from would be tough guys itching for a fight. She's dealt with enough fights breaking out that it's basically a part of her routine now. Take order, serve, shut down fight, take another order, repeat. Still, it's honest work and she'd like to keep it that way(minus the fights). She's Pepper's older cousin, and while she can't give a discount, she still deeply appreciates it whenever she sees her much more cheerful cousin pop in for some breakfast. A much slimmer roadrunner in a black dining uniform with a notepad for taking orders. This is Irene's original design before I requested Gadfly to make some *minor* adjustments to her figure. I like to pretend this is how she used to look early on in her career before putting on some weight.

Inspired by some Mario enemy adopts by JamCassette on Twitter, I worked with them to make Koopan and Boocy. You can find their lore in the alt text.
A blonde koopa wearing a dark blue outfit consisting of a shell like helmet, face mask that hides her beak, sleeveless top, baggy pants, and ninja tabi. She has similarly blue highlights at the end of her ponytail. Koopan is a female variant of the Hammer Bro(A Hammer Sis?) that utilizes the many coins scattered across the world like throwing stars. Her ancestors trained under the Ninji to learn their ninja techniques in order to serve the then Koopa King, but one day, seeing the greed in their lord, betrayed the kingdom and fled to a distant land. Over time, the family would begin to use coins as weapons in defiance of the greedy king they abandoned. Koopan is the next in line to be head of this family and has thus undergone the most intense training yet. She one day hopes to curtail the greed that has spread across the lands, but as long as there are blocks full of coins and even some just floating around, she'll continue to train. Some of her various ninja skills include water skipping, wall running, and walking across the tips of spikes unharmed. She's rumored to have learned how to even run across lava safely, but she is obviously reluctant to put this to practice. A pink Boo with a light blue bead in her hair. There is an alternative form of her in a black and light blue racing suit, partially unzipped at the chest. This racing version of her has a much more vicious expression. Boocy is an usually shy Red Boo. She's so shy in fact, she'll even dissappear when you DON'T look at her. This crippling trait has made her a laughing stock amongst other Boos for being the world's biggest scaredy-ghost and made her dreams of exploring beyond the mansion she haunts nigh impossible. That is until she stumbled across the Dash Helmet. It was said to have belonged to a top-class racer, brimming with confidence. Thinking such an item could help her feel confident too, Boocy put it on only to find herself transformed, not just physically but mentally too. Perhaps some part of the old racer's soul still lingered in the helmet, but Boocy was no longer a Boo scared of her own shadow but a daredevil of a woman whose thirst for high speed thrills could never be sated... as long as she kept the helmet on... As a racer, she is in the Super-Heavyweight class. Less out of actually meeting the requirements and more because she stubbornly refused to race in anything not built for speed.

Finally, after all this time, I've gotten my final original QoQ character done by @th3gadfly.bsky.social and completing 5 whole fan teams! Paloma specifically being the leader of Team Agent made up of her, Frankie, and Penelope. I can't thank Gad enough for everything he's done for me.
A large blue poison dart frog woman in a formal suit with a partially open top due to her large build preventing her from fully closing it. She has a large gray hair bun held up by a long hairpin and is adjusting her glasses. Once the Agency's top field agent, Paloma has retired from active field missions to become the head of the organization, decades of mission experience allows her to fully predict almost any threat her agents might encounter and give appropriate, if long winded, answers to what they need to do. Because of this and her stern no nonsense personality, she's been jokingly nicknamed "Mom" by multiple agents, much to her mild, yet flattered, annoyance. Out of all agents however, she views Frankie as her biggest challenge. The two often getting into heated conflicts at base over Frankie ignoring orders and whether said orders matter if the mission is accomplished. With reports of criminal activity surrounding an upcoming tournament, Paloma has decided to make a return to the field in order to show Frankie just how an agent is supposed to do things. Though she'll need Penelope to handle all the computer business... Paloma's large build belies her nature as a speedy martial artist. She had been trained in the ninja arts during her time as a field agent and despite all the years she has maintained those skills. Striking fast and precise, along with using every part of her body to its fullest potential, including her natural poison dart frog poison and tongue. She however, isn't here to win the tournament, just take down Velvet, so she only intends to go as far as needed before dropping out to focus on the real objective.

I RETURN WITH MORE QOQ FAN CHARACTER GOODNESS THANKS TO @th3gadfly.bsky.social! Wanting to match the variety his roster of fighters had, a puppet fighter was always on my mind for creating fan teams. Maybe it was subtle Carl memories, but the idea of a puppet bigger than the fighter led to Rachel.
A white mechanical robot rat with a large pointy nose and half closed eyes stands in an attempted boxing pose, trying to copy the actual fighter below her. A short cubby redhaired rat in swirly glasses in a red tank top and boxing shorts. Rachel is the third member of Team Rat, a team of rats who are competing in the QoQ tournament to prove that they're just as strong as everyone else despite their small size. Rachel herself is not as strong as her peers, one being a rough and tough street brawler and the other an actual samurai. But she does have one thing they don't. A totally accurate robotic double that puts her on the same fighting level as everyone else. Somehow this worked and Rachel was able to join the tournament. Being the small nerd that she is, Rachel's gameplan revolves around keeping her opponent as far away and busy with her robot as possible. However the machine was only mostly completed, leaving its defensive qualities lacking and suffering a tendency to undergo a reboot when smacked around enough. This design flaw would ultimately cost her and her team their chances at victory. Despite insisting she take full blame for their loss, her teammates refused to hold it against her and finally got the shut in to open up... just a little though. The two are now desperately trying to get Rachel to not put her brain in the robot and "become the world's first cyborg boxing champion/supermodel"

While I've shared Penelope on here, I don't think I've shared Sofiya or her partner character Matilda. I adopted them from different people but I feel like they pair well together.

Her hair and tail are made of chocolate and she has sad expression on her face, accentuated by two banana like tusks. Sofiya is the princess of a candy kingdom hidden among the ice of the Arctic. For generations, her kingdom has been responsible for the many treats children enjoy every Christmas morning with the powdered sugar snow, chocolate ore, and numerous other magic confectionery of their lands. Sofiya maintains this tradition not out of a will to make others smile like her ancestors, but as a desperate means of survival in her mind. She's made of chocolate too, after all, and this fact has tormented her for her entire life. Her, her people, her entire kingdom are nothing but a snack to humanity and the only thing stopping them is the candy they send out. Her best friend Matilda is one of the only people who can calm her down(usually with cherry pie) She can move on land kind of like a seal. Original art and design by Kimik0Hippie A centaur like deer with white spots across her body. She has ribbons and bells across her body, and her upper torso is wearing a green and red coat. She has long, wavy brown hair topped off with red bow ribbon. Matilda is Christmas spirit personified. Singing carols, baking treats, snowball fights, sleighs... okay, she admittedly can't do sonw angels but everything else, she's ready to do at any moment to spread fun and joy. She's a natural born wanderer and has visited almost all of the globe, though she naturally loves her home in the Arctic the most as it's where she made her very first friend, Sofiya. The two share a very close bond together with Matilda often coming up with new recipes for Sofiya to try. Her favorite food is mint candy and has been banned from the candy cane fields after a nasty mint freeze accident.

But that's not all, I've also got two Kaijune commissions from Jontanium as well. One with Penelope as an Ultraman esque hero, and the other is Sofiya, a milkshake themed mermaid as a very vengeance hungry sea queen.

She's here! The third member of my QoQ fan team, Team Ling, and second overall of my original fan character, Rene the Red, is finally here! And now she has officially overseen lore from @th3gadfly.bsky.social himself! As the team rushdown fighter, Rene buries enemies in a hail of kicks.
A beige anthropomorphic bat with yellow eyes and blonde messy hair tied in a bun. She's wearing a skin tight biker suit from the neck down that accentuates her THICC ass. In her long arms she's holding a white helmet with a red stripe carefully. Her expression is one of anger, hungry for revenge. Rene the Red is the leader of The Red Riders, the roughest, toughest, and nastiest biker gang to come outta Mexico. When word comes of a cute little tournament called the "Queen of Qlaw", Rene and her gang couldn't resist the allure of thrashing a bunch of wannabe martial artists and pretend tough guys. And so they rode off, cocksure in the bloodbath that was sure to come... Until Rene's boastful biking got her a flat tire. Not wanting to put a damper on her crew's mood, she had them go on without her to let them know that their new champion was coming. But little did she know what was going to happen next... Melty, a nasty biker in and of her own right, had been chosen to test Rene's abilities, and she wasn't taking "Rene's not here" as an answer. By the time she caught up, Melty had already decimated her gang and left. Another official, taking pity on Rene(and seeing this happen before), cleared Rene to enter the Queen of Qlaw tournament so she could get revenge on that damn cat... This... would not happen as Rene was tragically KO'd by a stray boomerang while auditioning to join Ling and Onyx, completely missing the tournament... At least she knows that damn cat is around here somewhere. And she's not leaving till she finds her and crushes her under a flurry of kicks.
