Ultimately I think the discourse on AI has just become to reactive and people spend more time talking about "which side" they're on rather than discussing the implications of specific AI use cases.

I don't necessarily think it's about being pro-AI or anti-AI. thats what discourse has devolved to, but I think we need to look past the rhetoric and think more about case by case action. (like opposing image generation specifically or supporting regulations on AI like you said).
