I thought I heard recently that there was a question already proposed “do you agree that Alberta shall remain a part of Canada” which would preclude any similar question from being proposed for a while?

My thought is that individual consumers won’t have to sue but companies like itch or steam would sue for blocking their access to payment processing.

I’m not in the USA or the UK but I just learned of bills in both jurisdictions that aim to prohibit any “banking” company from blocking anyone from having access without proper justification, and at least in the case of the USA, “risk to your reputation” is explicitly disallowed as justification.

Someone should try and convince Mastercard to ban the sale of guns and gun related items/content and see how fast lawmakers do something about it.
