The fact that AI-driven scanning technology is being pushed as a solution, according to BIRN, may not be quite organic.
One of the parties close to the decision-making process was Thorn, Ashton Kuchner's NGO - which also sells these AI scanning tools for profit.

Links drive traffic, of course, but viewing posts on X also requires a login and thus, an account. Which won't work (well) for people who deleted.

Sindsdien zijn de toestemmingen veranderd. Maar wat blijft is dat de standaardinstellingen voor deze dienst zo zijn dat externe partijen precieze locaties naar hartelust mogen gebruiken - en dus ook koppelen aan een profiel van data die ze al van je hebben.

Sindsdien zijn de toestemmingen veranderd. Maar wat blijft is dat de standaardinstellingen voor deze dienst zo zijn dat externe partijen precieze locaties naar hartelust mogen gebruiken - en dus ook koppelen aan een profiel van data die ze al van je hebben.
Ik moet steeds denken aan het citaat van schrijver Robert Caro: 'power reveals'. Ik denk dat dat ook in dit geval klopt.
Plus, eerdere projectie van opinies op iemand die ogenschijnlijk het middelpunt was van een 'groene revolutie' en daarvoor werd toegejuicht.

I read Schmidt's quotes as not just pertaining to AI, but to the longstanding practice of tech copying other popular tech. If not the practice of rolling out something that may or should cause legal problems down the line, but doing it anyway and then trying to hold out as long as possible

If people are unable to make decisions about their own care 'for various reasons' (this percentage* seems to be mostly because of cognitive impairment - not coma), could 'emails and social media messages' made by them be used confidently at all? If so, which ones? Who decides that?
