Loved these at a botanical garden in Maine over the summer!
A huge troll sculpture made of wood peers between the trees at a pair of dorky white tourists standing in front of it. The troll is several stories high and has a long face, a shingled belly and shoulders, and spiky hair. One of its hands rests on the ground, one is wrapped around a living tree. It looks kind of surprised but curious to see us. A huge troll sculpture sits on the floor of a clearing surrounded by trees. There’s nothing to give a sense of scale but its head and torso are at least twice as high as a person, iirc. Its arms and legs reach wide — kind of like an excited toddler — and it has a smile on its broad, youthful face. The surrounding trees create dappled shade.

No spoilers but the Battle at the Bowl was a true delight, me hearties!

The vibes are amazing — pink clouds overhead, a happy crowd, you can’t even tell that *immediately* after taking the picture I dumped an entire glass of wine all down my front and legs. Zoomed in on the now dark stage of the Hollywood Bowl. Brennan and the Intrepid Heroes sit at black tables with glowing blue triangle designs, calling to mind the Dimension 20 dome nicely. Above them the screen is partway through a dissolve, showing Brennan’s excited face and a d20 die that has landed in a golden natural 20. You can’t see the crowd but they are roaring.
