I wanted to draw out some of Ike's lines in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, because I really appreciate how good of a friend he is and how he reaches out to Soren a lot throughout the game.

Most of this dialogue is word to word in-game. (1/2)
Dialogue illustration of Ike on the boat telling Soren, "Your ability to speak plainly what others won't is part of what makes you brilliant." Soren and Ike in the desert. Ike is asking him, "Tell me, Soren. Are you alright? Recently, ever since we reached Begnion, you've seen depressed." Ike is holding his hand helping him on the sand. Soren's B-Rank with Ike. Ike is grabbing him and yelling, "Soren, it's no nonsense! It's the most terrible thing I've ever heard!" about Soren's past. Final drawing here is Ike and Soren discussing running up the mountain. Ranulf is also here. This conversation is paraphrased and shortened, but you get the idea. Soren: That is the most effective, yes. Ike: Right. Run up the mountain. Lets go. Ranulf: Helloooo? Are we not discussing this first??

I just think it's sweet and Ike really cares about him. They're neat. :)

Soren is seeing with blobs of tears saying, "Don't you find me repugnant?! I work beside you! Eat beside you! I'm nothing!" Ike replies, "Soren-" "I don't belong anywhere! Doesn't that sicken you?!" Ike with maximum charisma saying, "No! It doesn't change anything! You're still you, Soren! You're a capable officer i n our army, ... and my friend. We can't keep going unless you are with us." The last illustration is just a sobbing Soren saying Ike's name over and over again.
