Yes, absolutely! I made a second Bluesky account for politics to not have news here, so I only see art stuff here so I have better boundaries and protect my mind better but the algorithm still shows me politics 😝 and of course I go to the other account and read there…

I had a time when I just stopped reading news because it exploded my anxiety levels. And it was ok because it was only a few major things and they were still on my radar. But these days I can’t stop because everything feels so terribly relevant to know, and they just don’t stop.

I can relate to this so much!
I try to keep this account to art and optimism but the things that are happening in the world making me angry, anxious, exhausted and clouding everything, and it spills.

To be honest, “he” can be refered to too many these days…
