Same. I’ve lived there for 18 years and am deeply ambivalent about visiting now. It’s very stressful.

When I was growing up in Ireland, we would have our throats blessed on St Blaise’s Day with crossed (unlit) candles after mass to ward off sore throats. Can’t say it always worked!
