Brilliant seminar yesterday, featuring papers with close readings of the mobility of gods and people in the Hebrew Bible by @au.dk's Elisa Uusimäki, of Hagar as foreigner by @dublincityuni.bsky.social PhD student Abigail Sines, and patristic authors' understanding of scripture as home by myself.

What a lovely group of scholars gathered by Wally Cirafesi of Lund University and Catrin Williams of the U of Wales TSD on the reception of John and Jewish-Christian relations. We explored John's influence in material culture, homilies, apostolic memoirs, and rabbinic literature...

A happy new year's arrival in the post. Nice to have this project, which began at the end of 2018, very concretely wrapped up at the end of 2023 and by the first day of maternity leave...Thanks again to all contributors and to CUA Press for all their good work on the volume.
