I made this post bc I believe the Jackson Road corridor in Scio Township/Ann Arbor, MI needs a separated bike path. I don't like riding on the sidewalk, but I also don't want to die. The fact that I see so many other cyclists also using the sidewalk suggests a safe bike path would be well used.

idk to me this seems like all the more reason for separated bike infrastructure.

can't blame anyone for not wanting to mix with cars going 50mph and painting a picture of a bike in the shoulder doesn't make it any more appealing. But we need our own infrastructure.

Until the end of his life, my grandfather would say, "Right on red? That'll kill ya!" much to the annoyance of anyone else in the car. Anyway that's how *I* know it's a relatively new thing.

cycling (clothing) gear is mostly marketed to men and then doesn't exist in plus size for women. I love when men's sections have a 2x and the women's don't. I love being told to save up for the good stuff only to find they don't make the good stuff in my size anyway.
