Also, look at MATLAS-2019 as seen by the Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) !

... and provide a new estimate of the number of globular cluster of this galaxy. We find that there are ~30 globulars in this galaxy, which is certainly higher than other ultra-diffuse galaxies of similar mass but (way) lower than what was estimated before.

Mmm... no thanks.

We have a similar rip-off in Spain (Mercadona). And no, not the same.

I'm glad that Sánchez said no to this bully.

When we compared the colors of the two galaxies and the star bridge, we could see that the stars in the star bridge (the blue area) were similar in color to the stars in the outer parts of the upper-right galaxy (the green area).

We discovered a faint bridge of stars between two massive galaxies in the Abell 3667 cluster using DECAM. Take a look at the image! Take a look at everything in there!

We looked at the radial profiles of BCG+ICL out to 600 kpc and the colour profiles up to 450 kpc. We also compare the morphology of the ICL with the distribution of total mass of the cluster (from gravitational lensing) and the X-rays.

Using the early release observations, we study the diffuse light in galaxy clusters (ICL) in this very massive cluster, thanks to the beautiful Euclid images.

I want to acquire it and name it Mireialand.

I can't...

The ML model performs very well, and we are able to recover what has been seen in the observations, an increasing fraction with redshift.

This is the last week that I am enjoying Australia. Lots of feelings. Sydney still feels like home, although I haven't lived here for 4 yrs.
Anyway, lots of science, good coffee and (some) wine to make up for the sadness.
