Hmm, I know the rules are lost, but pretty sure we know the board and it's likely you put down pieces until you got them all down and then trap your opponent between two of your own pieces by sliding, similar to nine men's morris. It comes up all the time in Irish folklore, but I'm not an expert.

I love Cliff Johnson's old games and didn't even realize there were fangames! (I'll have to give Plotkin's game a try next)

I'm a bit into this and it's pretty competent so far.

So what's your favourite terrible console game from childhood? :P

(I still love Chameleon Twist, but it's been thoroughly savaged by critics both modern and contemporary)

For some crazy reason, the credits screen in Space Hunter (NES) is hidden deep amidst a bunch of fake rooms in the final dungeon :S

Wet Spot 2 - an old QBasic pengo-like for DOS that I quite like. To quote the only source of hosting I can find: "I really don't know what the big deal about this game is."

On Sundays, I'm gonna dig through my personal archives to highlight one old indie game. They all probably need WINE. "Puchi" (maybe Little Straw Story?) is a Japanese platformer that somehow makes a stickman very cute. :)
