I spent too much of my life in my twenties being someone who wasn't me, trying to fit in and be like other people, anything to be accepted and loved. I met my now husband at 29, and met all of my 'people' in my late 30s. I had just needed to realise who I was first. It took a bit of time 😄

I still have an account but I have deleted all likes and follow no-one. So my feed is only click bait stuff like happy dogs being reunited with their owners or stuff like that. I use it when I'm feeling low to cheer myself up ironically.

My husband has this - he had transplant surgery in January and was told he needs 3 months to heal. In week 2 his brain felt he was well enough to go grocery shopping, his body barely made it to their front door when we had parked 10 metres away...
