This is my take and I'm generally a lot less critical of AI as a tool separate from capitalist companies looking to make a quick buck. It's been used in CT scans since the 90s, particle physics, protein folding, etc. It has good applications in proper scenarios. This ain't it.

Is there any sense of how far those writings were removed temporarily? Because "God flattened a city, what the hell did they do!?" seems like a historian's version of a back of the envelope calculation. There's no gray area about it. The only two things that warrant disclosure in my book are age and STD status. Anything beyond that and consent is consent. Say a man wants children and a woman is knowingly deceptive about (in)fertility. Unethical? Yes. Illegal? Shouldn't be imo.

That's why I said to store the nonce separately - preferably cryptographically such that only serverside can easily retrieve it. But even in plaintext, with every entry having a different nonce hashing what you're looking for over all nonces in the base would be cumbersome.
