I still had my opus card from my previous visit, the entire time I was just standing at the bixi station fiddling with my phone I was just wishing "Wow I really wish I could just tap this card to unlock the bike". I've never used bike share before, despite being from NYC, so it was a real pain.

I truly picked the worst time to visit Montreal, but at least it forced me to walk around on foot and visit restaurants and businesses I never knew existed and never would hove stopped in otherwise. So that's a silver lining. The bixi app refusing to work didn't help either the mood either.
