If you haven’t already, give time dedicated to only you. Like an hour. Walk away from the devices (yes, even the TV) and do something hands on just to clear your head.

Personally, I’m trying to read again, preferably if the book is a hard copy. Anything that doesn’t involve a computer, period.

It’s like a battery. Sure, it’s at 20 percent. That’s enough to keep going, but it’s only going to run out again within the hour. You need to step away for a bit to let it finish charging.

There’s only so much that candle wick can burn before it completely fizzles out, both job-wise and family-wise, even mental health-wise. I learned long ago that just forcing yourself to push through, while it does lead to productivity, only leads to more burn out.

The same people I raspberry and give a thumbs down to anytime I see those ugly monstrosities on the road.

I saw one yesterday with an Autobot emblem on the back and my knee-jerk reaction was to bust out laughing. XD

Baking. Sooo much baking. Think I baked more this past year than I have in a long time and forgot how much I enjoyed it. XD

I don’t know how Jackson Galaxy did it, but the man was a lot more patient with those people than I would’ve been. My knee jerk reaction would be to take the cat(s) away and get those people blacklisted from every adoption center/agency.

Getting flashbacks to those “My Cat from Hell” vids where the owners would just casually say, “Well, if Fluffy doesn’t turn his behavior around, we’re just going to have to put him down.” Like fostering/adoption to another family wasn’t an option.
