I missed most of the best colors near me this season, but caught this not far from home that stuck out to me. It’s a sign that our surroundings adapt to the seasons, but true beauty doesn’t disappear. 👀 We can be the same to make our lives better collectively. Every bit counts with that after all.

Of course I would choose to spend my extra day off today doing a hike with @yukinealterma.bsky.social and Max, then treat ourselves to a lunch out. Very much the best way to be able to spend that time and come back feeling refreshed!

This past weekend, managed to summit two more of Colorado's 14ers not too far from home, Mt. Cameron (14,248 ft / ~4,342.8 m) and Mt. Lincoln (14,293 ft / ~4,356.5 m). A rewarding experience with a surprise waterfall at the bottom! Well worth having that break from electronics while out there.

Nothing quite like spending the day yesterday summiting another one of Colorado's tallest peaks. This time, Mt. Democrat (14,154 ft / ~4,314 m) was the pick and became my fourth 14er summitted. Feeling very sore today but it was worth every second!

Some of what I spent several hours working on earlier today as my meal prep for the week. Chicken bacon ranch subs, boneless ribs, and a creamy spaghetti bake, among others. Very excited to dig into these!

One of the best parts of the holidays is always the feasts that end up being made and enjoyed out of my kitchen. This Christmas featured:
- Prime Rib
- Homemade Macaroni and Cheese bake
- Mexican-Style Street Corn
- Banana Bread mix
One of the favorites in recent memory!
