I'm not quite sure what "demon" I'm even facing that I making me feel *that* thing but- (minty looks at me room with many red eyes in the dark labeled hall of fears and shouts "Which one of you fuckers is it?!") If my words and feelings could reach someone and make them feel less alone That would be nice...

But...seeing my thoughts, my heart reflected on those pages across space and time. Feeling kinship with someone I don't know... I didn't think it was "cheap" or "easy". When I read those things all I thought was... It takes courage. [She's (Nagata) really honest and talks about mental health stuff I don't see many talk about...] [me, I'm a very embarassed person overall.] People go their whole lives never showing their pain. It's not attention-seeking. It's pretty cool (what she does). I can live too. I'll be strong too, I'll get through it! You don't know me but your art touched some random guy across the sea Nagata Kabi! So some seeds were planted. The idea that maybe the feelings I had marked as filthy...Were worth sharing. Maybe what came easy to me had value.

Either way, because I could do it. I thought it had no worth. It's dumb. But because it was something I was "good at", how could it have any value? I was only into fiction usually. When I read Nagata's work I felt, at certain panels like someone had drawn out the inside of my head. Separated by country, age, gender, sexuality, despite that all. Amidst the rest, condensated in those certain panels, was definetely the inside of my head. I had thought I was a late bloomer. That there was no hope for me. That all there was was "this", watching people walk ahead and being left behind.

I used to like autobiographical works. At some point though, I lost interest. But then I read "My lesbian experience with loneliness" by Nagata Kabi and my view changed. Honestly I...Thought drawing about my feelings would be cheap. Because I could easily do it. It felt natural. And because who would even want to see it anyway? I didn't want to be that guy who just draws about being sad all the time. I didn't want to be cheap just because I couldn't make a story. I... Didn't want it to be ignored either. In the vast sea that is social media. I don't want my feelings to drown, unseen, ultimately touching no one. I don't want to be misunderstood.
