Not sure it would have been quite as successful if he wrote it today.

If it were written today.

This is slightly interesting, the wording has changed slightly on the GRC Statutory Declaration.

The one I made in late 2018 says "I intend to live full time as a female until death."

The current one says: "and I intend to live in that gender until death."

If I do not “live full time as a female” then I will have committed perjury which can result in a fine, a prison sentence or both.

How can I live as a woman when according to the Supreme Court and the EHRC, I am not one?

It was even worse for me.

I did a thing! At the right time of day and place, you might be able to find me as M7OPI. Next up, Intermediate.

Flying my colours at Trans Pride London. We will not be ignored!
July 26, 2025 at 1:05 PM
Ready to head into London for Trans Pride.

I don’t think it’s going to be a celebration this year but more of an act of defiance.

They won’t win, we will survive and thrive.

I guess the UK establishment are pretty happy with this outcome, LGBT authors like @taliabhatt.itch.io having their page blocked due to the Online Safety Act.

This on top of @itch.io things from their platform due to pressure from payment providers.

Welcome to the UK in 2025, don’t forget your VPN

According to a letter from my previous GP in the UK, they apparently do not have the competence.

There is a reason they are my previous GP.

This is the benefit of global DNS monitoring though - we can see the impact and recovery time of Cloudflare from around the world.

Exactly right. The JPAC decision notice they've based this off states to use female ranges; but for a trans man stable on HRT, this could allow them to donate at levels below safe limits.
July 2, 2025 at 11:34 AM
This seems to be what NHSBT are basing their guidance off of without instead looking at the preceding points stating that they should take account of donors being on stable hormone therapy.

Another interesting point here is blood volume. This position document says this.

"Proposals for managing donors and donations by SAAB or gender identity are presented in tables 2 and 3."

What are tables 2 and 3? Let's see.

Further to my post last week about haemoglobin levels and being denied as a blood donor due to them using male minimums (I was also below female minimums, but they didn't use those for me).

Leaflet from NHSBT, and the blood test result by my GP.

Both within normal female range.

The guidelines state that consideration should be given to the assessment criteria for transgender people.

This is clearly not the case and not what is happening. The nurse showed me a controlled document on her phone stating that trans female patients are assigned screening code '4'.

This means they use male reference ranges for iron count and the deferral period is 12 months, not 3.

The massive problem here is that haemoglobin recovery rate and the iron levels they use are based on the endocrine system. JPAC guidelines state as such.

Going through some old things and remembering some of the amazing one-shot webcomics from @drxii.bsky.social many years ago.

So many of these based on random off-hand comments and turned into amazing things.

How do they rise up?

This book dragged me out of a rut that I'd been stuck in for 3-4 years.

These two are also a year apart. The first one 15th May 2024, the second 14th May 2025. Both are me on my way to Italy for a conference.
May 23, 2025 at 9:32 AM
I'm sure I saw lots of people saying that banning trans people from single sex spaces wasn't referring to toilets, yet from the EHRC code of practice consultation, it gives this example.

Guess they are trying to remove the "problem in a sane society" then by driving us out of public life.
