i am seeing more about this and like. what i mean to say is that you Shouldn't have a "magic system" what i mean to say is you should in universe call it something else. because it's too well understood to be magic as we know it. magic relies on us not knowing it, and if it's known it's a science.

for the record. it's simple. a magic system is when the act of learning magic is structural. when you're trying to make stuff like tiers and schools and categories, that can be explained to the viewer in a way that makes perfect sense to our feeble human brains.
