His name is at the bottom-left of the screen whenever you see him, Jon Fetherston. There is always some bias, but in this case he actually WAS a director of that shelter from Nov '23, he's got a track record of public service, and went openly on the record multiple times, so I doubt he's a liar.

I then find it very strange that the blue states are so upset that red states want less of the former's subsidies. Make it make sense.

Trump also committed the kind of victimless "bank fraud" that arguably "everybody in the business does", yet the AG bent over backwards to get it prosecuted for political points (statute of limitations be darned, etc.) So yes it's retribution, two can play at that game.
