If you've only ever read or published furry visual novels, it's easy to take this audience and community for granted and fail to realize how amazing it is. You don't get a readership like this anywhere else. And I'm always thinking of that, always thankful.

Back in 2019 when I started writing the first drafts of Minotaur Hotel I had no idea things would end up reaching this point. That, and that alone, is disorienting. But I'm glad we got here, and I'm very thankful for everyone who's followed along and stuck with us.

Though the work is intense, I feel very great. I feel accomplished. Being able to work on a creative project such as this, with people's support, is incredible.

It's been very intense, and even with this work rhythm I have a backlog of tasks in front of me. There's a lot of work to be done. But I've been able to reserve the weekends for resting so I don't burnout, and it's all going smoothly. The team is wonderful, and things are moving forward.

The team is very international and most people have a day job. Meetings or voice calls, when they happen, are usually done late at night. So if that's necessary, I might stay in work mode all the way to 11PM or later.

Beyond writing and directing the game, now I'm also handling scripting to some capacity. Then there's the realities of running a business; legal and contracts, accounting, handling payments, general bureaucracy.
