A&E Capital = 50/50 Disney/Hearst.

Hearst is old money….

Early on investments in Silicon Valley (Netscape).
Magazines, newspapers, other media, influence wars (propaganda), societal norms (moral/transgression) eg health/lifestyle mags. Sounds like Murdoch’s empire.

That transfers to Hancock. Was across the undertones in his stuff & what it’s inspired in some ‘communities’.

So I’m reading that it was under Nancy Dubuc’s leadership the shift at History Channel occurred.

Notable she’s in circles with the Murdoch’s, Michael Bloomberg, TPG Capital execs.

Intriguing, I’m checking this out.
Thanks for this thread today, it’s been enlightening 😉
Hope your course is travelling well & what you’d hoped for!

I definitely didn’t dig into him at all.

He was the face behind Ancient Aliens for me & nothing more & I didn’t see issues with ‘just asking questions’ back then. Entertainment.

Fucking Tsoukalos. Shifty Greek.
Something something Trojan Horse 🤣

***I’m Greek too, not intending to be offensive

Yay for company cult-ure.

I was a victim of this working in the major Microsoft partner space.

Gotta drink that koolaid.

I think Ancient Aliens was the catalyst for all of this.

I remember there were shitty speculative/sensationalist shows before Ancient Aliens. Like Nostradamus, end of world predictions etc.

But it’s burned in my brain - Ancient Aliens & the floodgates opened.

Had noticed this, didn’t tie it in either!
von Däniken part is mind blowing, his books were published in the 60’s/70’s.

Thought there was something beyond normal when Ancient Aliens first aired on History Channel.
For me it was the moment when History Channel diverged from ‘academic’ to pseudo-XXXX
December 10, 2025 at 1:10 AM
Absolutely, I noticed this!

I arrived at: they want smart & innovative people, but also control over how/what they think.

Seems pretty culty to me.
December 10, 2025 at 12:50 AM
I’ve heard Rogan speak about visiting Thiel’s place. I missed the von Däniken part.

You’ve triggered a huge light bulb moment for me: rhetoric von Däniken used from the get go.

‘Just asking questions’
How the fuck did I miss this one.
Seeing the pattern of guests Rogan hosts in a different way now

I discovered the ‘clubhouse’ only recently.

Lots of research & many ‘shock/horror’ moments for me while learning about the system & how it appears to function up above. I’m sure there will be many more of those moments.

Beyond power: bigger picture = moral line shifting? Keep looking at how taboos shift towards morally transgressive.
Eg. Dershowitz article re: age of consent.
Other sick shit sensationalised in the media that’s way beyond a consensual cigar & blowjob.

It’s all seems to be above at elite/certain ‘societies’, they own blackmailed politicians. I lean towards too many blackmailed/financial crimes.
Midterms next year might be only opportunity to flip things.
December 9, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Unsure if Rogan has touched on surveillance state, you’d think he’d be up in arms about it, pretty sure his audience would have strong feelings on this, surely.
Not enough noise specifically naming names.
It’s positive to see it’s starting. Though, that hasn’t resulted Epstein files release.
December 9, 2025 at 11:47 PM
I’d like to hope so.
Thinking a lot about how things have played out with Epstein files, feeling like the main blocker is blackmail. Both parties & beyond politicians. Puppet masters up above.

Imagine if Rogan allowed discussions re Thiel/Palantir (Theo Von ep a few weeks ago - blatant).
December 9, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Palantir + Anduril. Both. Alongside one another. This is promising.
December 9, 2025 at 11:10 PM
And yes, it chugs.

15 years too fucking late.

It’s been painful, but I never thought I’d see the day.
