So glad you made this episode. Many of us out here, like, Rebecca said, are calling reps, protesting, boycotting, etc. We have been feeling a vast disconnect with dems in Washington. I hope Chris that you will be broadcasting from one the Bernie/AOC rallies next week talking to the attendees.

Yes, but I do think any Democrats who vote for the CR will recognize that they grossly underestimated the rage of the Democrat and independent voters. This reminds me a lot of where republican people politicians were in 2009. which birthed the tea party.

It depends on which voters and which media outlets they watch/read. Many people believe we live in a post-truth world where nothing is trustworthy/believable. Laws are enforced based on the accused’s relationship to those in power. Tribal stories are all we have.

Yes. I guess we are suppose to show empathy to the man who called us “parasites”. The right applauds the firing of thousands of civil servants. Ask not what the oligarchs can do for you, but what can you do for them.

I’m still deconstructing from this environment. It’s a real threat to women that must be vigorously opposed in all arenas of life (church, workplace, family, and government).

That’s because they being morally bankrupt see everything as transactional. No one could possibly be showing up because of their beliefs or values. This is easily proven. talk to the attendees
