Had a week away just over the border in Wales. Stayed in Chirk and while there visited the fab Pontcysyllte aqueduct in Llangollen.
Saw this fab art installation on the canal bank showing pieces of ceramics, bricks and tools that were found during the digging out of the canal. Very interesting 🙂

We had a great beachcomb this morning, founds lots of sea glass and pottery, happily no rubbish to remove at all!
This little red piece I thought was nasty plastic so removed it, a closer look later and found it’s actually glass 🥰 a beautiful teeny red glass bead with ‘c’ marks.

We had a great beachcomb this morning, founds lots of sea glass and pottery, happily no rubbish to remove at all!

I’m very happy to hear that my sea glass framed picture of Anglesey has sold and is off to a new home in Canada! 🇨🇦
The family have relatives who came from Ynys Môn and are taking a little slice of the island back with them.
Some glass used was from the island 🤗🩵🌊
