Happy audiobook release date, Ribbonwood and @rubylanders.bsky.social!

I can't wait for Audible UK to wake up and add my preorder to my library. 😍

Recommendations on sapphic romance that is Audible exclusive?

I know there are tons of options on Audible but which are your *favorites*?

🌈📚 💙📚

Nothing too serious, no romantasy, paranormal or dark romance, thank you very much. Something similar to these:

I'm currently having way too many options for the next read. And I'm looking only at the most recent purchases. (We are ignoring all the couple of hundred ebooks bought earlier, waiting to be read...)

Which one would you pick out of these sapphic romances? 🌈📚 💙🌈

Oh my gawd, I'm so happy how the book turned out and how it wrapped up the series.

Discovering Nicola is my favorite book in the series. I've loved both Millie and Olivia and read them multiple times but Geeta and Nicola stole my heart.

Happy book birthday @clareashton.bsky.social! Discovering Nicola is out today!

I'm in love with this book (ARC). I'm only at 42% because life, work and kids, but it's so good. Nicola's pants are on fire, Geeta's finding herself post divorce, they are *gasp* becoming friends. 🌈📚

I'm currently reading upcoming romance The Wrong Date Deal by Jacqueline Ramsden @jacramsden.bsky.social.

Oh, the delicious slow burn. Idiots in love fumbling through bad dates with other people. 🔥🤌🏻💯❤️

I finished listening to A Gentleman's Gentleman (The Earl Meets His Match) by TJ Alexander. It was wonderful, btw.

While I was tagging it on Storygraph, I started to think where's the line for "historical romance"? 1/2

Currently listening to The Snowball Effect by Haley Cass. It was released today. I read it last fall but I'm excited to re-live Regan and Emma's story narrated by Lori Prince. It's over 19 hours (at x1)!

Also released today 🎧: The Next Chapters (by Hailey Cass) and Switcheroo by Cheyenne Blue. 🌈📚

I'm really enjoying the banter, humor and inner sarcastic monoluge of I Really Do by Emily K. Hardy. 🌈📚

My book order arrived yesterday. I only buy books that I've read before as paperbacks. I'm slowly buying favorites as physical copies. All of these are sapphic romance books. Two are young adult novels, others are adult novels.

Is there a list of Valentine's Day sale romance books (Kindle/ebook) somewhere? 🌈📚 💙📚

I've found a few individual discounted books but if someone has put together a list I'd appreciate it.

I've put together five jigsaw puzzles since Christmas. I had a break from them for a few months last year. These two with 1000 & 1500 pieces were surprisingly challenging. Next, I'm trying to put together a 1500-piece Ravensburger "Universum". Wish me luck. 🫣

I reached 30% mark tonight and the story of The Hard Stuff by Ana Hartnett has me hooked. It's exactly what I love about small town/rivals to lovers sapphic romance. 🌈📚

ARC received from the publisher.

I read 14 ARCs last year. Ribbonwood by @rubylanders.bsky.social was one of the ARCs in 2024 and it's also in top 3 books I read last year. And look how pretty its cover is!

I received the Ribbonwood paperback in the mail yesterday so now I can revisit the 'return to small town' sapphic romance. 🌈📚

Oh, I just noticed that It's a Love/Skate Relationship by Carli J. Corson that is published tomorrow (Jan 28), will be also immediately available as audiobook on Storytel. I've heard great things about this debut YA sapphic romance. 🌈📚

I had a sudden urge to re-read sapphic romance/romcom Here For the Wrong Reasons by Lydia Wang and Annabel Paulsen. I listened to the audiobook last May/June but cannot find it anywhere. It was on Storytel or Nextory back then... Mysterious. Maybe I have to get it as ebook. I liked it! 🌈📚

While waiting for The Floral Arrangement by @elizabethluly.bsky.social to be released in March, I'm re-reading (this time as an audiobook narrated by Abby Craden) Novel Problems. It's book 2 in the Sapphire Springs sapphic romance series. 🌈📚

What an interesting experiment is coming on March 28th. Midnight Rain by @authorhaleycass.bsky.social is a sapphic romance with a twist. It's an alternative universe "fanfic" of her debut Those Who Wait. 🔥🔥🔥 🌈📚 www.instagram.com/p/DFOiQOkxLT...

Finished listening to Zoe Brennan, First Crush by Laura Piper Lee today. It's really funny and cosy romcom set at a Georgia vineyard. Some 🌶️, a lot of pining and courting, good friends and family drama. 5/5⭐.

I can highly recommend it. I'm almost finished with it and it's a 4.5-5⭐ book for me. It's funny, there's pining and courting, and there's some family drama and good friends. 🌈📚

I binge listened to 2 books in Peach Blossom series by Karmen Lee during the past 4 days.

I really liked both. They take place in a small town in Georgia. I don't understand why these have such a low avg rating. They are fun relatively light sapphic romances. Dani's book)m is coming in August. 🧵

I've caught up with holiday romances I got in Dec.

I already finished Merrily You by @chel-c-cam.bsky.social. It's a best friends to lovers fake dating novella. Light, quick and sweet.

Now I'm reading Hoax for the Holidays by Bel Blackwood. It's very silly so far. Also a novella. #sapphicbooks

We ordered some Lego sets and Pick A Bricks from lego.com a bit over a week ago and the sets arrived yesterday. We got a limited edition nutcracker set as a bonus. Individual bricks should arrive tomorrow. Picking bricks was a family activity. Mostly my wife and 8yo picked pretty accessories.

My #GoodreadsYearInBooks is embarrassing. I didn't compete against anyone, I've just been obsessed. At some point I stopped tagging books by format - because audiobooks count as reading - so I don't have stats on ebook/paperback/audiobook split.

Is there anything more Finnish than a heavy metal version of our 2023 Eurovision Song Contest song? The German band that competed the same year made a cover of Cha Cha Cha. My kids (4 and 8) love it.
