for sure. for a platform to explode, there’s a few keys:

- ease of platform
- does it connect you with ppl w/ shared interests?
- is it addictive (sad to say, but it’s true)

I first started on Twitter as a way to get fast, realtime sports news

it then blew up for the medical community
