The majority of Americans do not support trans women in sports and view it as unfair. I have a trans daughter, and I care deeply about trans rights, but I can also choose my battles. I believe Newsom is wise to step back from this issue.

The reality is that if you get your wish, people who look like men will be in the women's bathroom, and people who look like women will be in the men's bathroom, and it'll be confusing for all.

Do you know any trans people? I do, and you should be careful what you wish for. There are plenty of trans men who you’d never guess were assigned female at birth—and I assure you, they might surprise a little girl in the women’s bathroom far more than a trans woman ever would.

I think you misunderstood me. I want conservatives to see how their logic backfires. They focus on trans women (my daughter is trans) but don’t consider what happens when trans men use women’s bathrooms. I hate this issue too and wish they’d stop obsessing over it.

My daughter still wears a mask at work and is harassed. Unfortunately, wearing a mask became a political issue.

I hope trans men start using women’s bathrooms—it’s what these people are demanding. Let’s see how they react when men start walking into women’s spaces because, after all, these men were assigned female at birth.

Biden and Harris addressed that inflation started under Trump, pointing to pandemic impacts. It’s a complex issue, and while their messaging could’ve been better, I don’t believe anyone “gaslit.” Explaining inflation amid widespread misinformation and real frustrations is an enormous challenge.

Wages spiked at the end of Trump's term because of Covid-driven labor shortages. Which then helped fuel inflation.
