She/her, painter of minis, player of games, lover of cats & dogs. Not the Jen you’re thinking of. Not at all famous.
I have had cats change their minds and decide not to throw up after all if I managed to catch them and put them on tile. They’d give me an annoyed, disgusted look and walk away, no longer making that pre-hurl sound.

Lovely! I knew I couldn’t have been the only one who went with fall colors.

Yeah. They do that.

I will note we are still having a good time playing. Don’t know if I’d play it again.

Yeah, I struggle with suspending disbelief and engaging with the setting sometimes.

And I do think the system has mechanical issues, particularly when PCs have progressed or you are fighting tougher opponents. There are no upper limits on what you add to rolls.

For one, they tried real hard to find ways to make everything in Norse mythology literally true in the game world, even with the setting also being high tech. Some of it works. Some of it very much does not.

Our group noticed the same thing recently. We found Mongoose’s forum for the game and there’s hardly any discussion even there. I do think the game has flaws, for sure.

Playing in a campaign. I’m not sure I’d agree with that assessment. It doesn’t really have any PbtA-like features, other than you roll 2d6 and add values when doing a roll. It does play fast in combat. Equipment is important. Game balance seems a little off.

Gray? Ok. Painted some years ago for Reaper Miniatures.

Ok, I was pretty happy with this lady:

If you enjoy it, do it anyway. Getting better will come with time. Even if it doesn’t, if you enjoyed the time spent, it’s a win.

Thanks! It wasn’t dry brushed, though.
