Cthulhu was going to rise and bring about madness and chaos, but MAGA beat Him to it.
Yes, but the Republicans might think it was an impolite thing to do so you can see how the Democrats were at a complete loss as to what to do about any of this.

It only looks that way because of all of the clowns. Circuses are more professional and better run than anything the GOP can manage.

Or that Republican voters (1) care in the first place and (2) do not want it.
December 19, 2024 at 1:33 PM
Republicans do not want to govern. They want three things: to gain power, to keep power, and to prevent others from having power. Anything beyond that is irrelevant to them.

Friday, April 18, 1930 was close, according to the BBC. Wikipedia says, "The BBC Radio news bulletin from London stated: 'Good evening. Today is Good Friday. There is no news.' Piano music followed for roughly 15 minutes."

Wait until someone tells him about the Hitler Youth program. I'm sure he would very much like a Trump Youth program to have a bunch of brainwashed kids praising his greatness and would be more than happy to order his lackeys to find funding for it.
December 18, 2024 at 12:17 AM
I'm willing to bet that the brain worms would be smarter and more informed voters than the average MAGA moron so things might actually improve.

I'm sure Trump has the McDonalds catering all squared away, unless he's saving that for something special like hosting Putin at a state dinner.

Just tell them the liberals are trying to keep good God Fearing Americans from eating their food raw, like nature intended, and they'll all happily make the switch.
December 16, 2024 at 2:01 PM
Of course he will. "If I have to suffer, so do you" is the GOP way.

Insurance companies are parasites masquerading as an essential part of society because they were able to successfully lobby a bunch of politicians with "campaign contributions" (i.e., bribes) to force their existence to be necessary.

Mimicry of empathy is the best that psychopaths can do. They're often very confused when they mimic empathy for the wrong reasons and people see them as monsters.

That was my take as well. "We know the health care system isn't perfect, because we've all seen next quarter's projections. It'll be tough, but let's brainstorm some ideas on how to kill fewer of our customers for more profit so we don't look so horrible."

The book Snakes in Suits: Understanding and Surviving the Psychopaths in Your Office by Paul Babiak PhD, Robert D. Hare PhD talks about exactly this. Business, particularly at the highest levels, has a disproportionate number of psychopaths compared to other professions because it rewards them.

I always found the literal book reviews to be enlightening. You know, "The book looks great. I really like the cover," or "It's the right size, and has pages have words on them" but no actual attempt at providing anything useful like a review of the contents of said book.

He was probably just dodging the Grim Reaper's cold grasp yet again and lost his footing. He's not as spry as he used to be, but the Reaper will get him one of these days.

Casinos are about as no-fail as you can have in business. You're mathematically guaranteed to make money. All you have to do is keep the lights on and the doors open and get as many people in as possible yet he bankrupted not one but multiple casinos and he's supposed to be a "great businessman".

What they don't realize is that Trump hates them too, and he'll turn on them as well. At some point, they won't be loyal enough to the Party, or not the "right kind of person", or "subversive". That finger they like to point at others will eventually point at them. They just don't realize it yet.

I've heard cockroaches would survive a nuclear war, so ...

Ah, so that's what being a "real Alpha" is all about. Here I thought it was whining incessantly about imagined grievances and holding pity parties with other Alpha males because women refuse to be around them.

Make sure you enunciate clearly on "wgah'nagl" or might accidentally summon something cuddly instead of singing the praises of Cthulhu, and let me tell you that's an embarrassment you don't want to make at the next cult meeting.

To be fair, it's dark in the Special Collections section and the cookbooks are right next to the forbidden tomes of sanity shredding knowledge so it's an easy mistake to make.

Cthulhu finds this entire thread very amusing.

I can't wait until they realize that the White House is barely big enough for one of their egos and they turn on each other.
